Pagi ni buat lawak pulak... bukan Gelanggang Raja Lawak ye!
Al-kisah nye, last week, my wife pegi Jakarta-Bandung. So aku kena sign up for "Junior Duty". Selama 5 hari tu la (Rabu - Ahad) aku kena bawak ATR ke mana-mana sebab nak kena hantar/jemput juniors kat tadika.
Lawak hari ni... aku boleh lupa camne nak pasang aircond Black Knight. Jenuh aku adjust 'fan speed' knob tu tapi senyap je. Dah la pagi tadi hujan. Berkuap la aku dlm kereta tu. Dalam kepala dah mencongak-congak dah... berapa nak kena keluar duit nak 'repair problem' ni. Dah nak sampai ofis, baru aku perasan yang aku lupa picit button kipas!
Cheh...
Title is inspired from Rush songs, 'The Analog Kid' and 'Digital Man'. An analog signal is a signal that is written as it is recorded, without having anything encrypted. A digital signal is an encrypted signal that needs to be decoded, a digital signal only gives a positive or a negative signal, 0s or 1s. The Analog Kid is about a kid who is overwhelmed with straight-forward emotion. Digital Man is about a heartless, calculating man - putting logic before emotion.

New 'liability'
After a couple of months hunting for 2nd car, we finally took delivery of our new 'liability'. A Mitsubishi AirTrek 2.0 Turbo. It's a second hand unit and the car has 92K++ on the mileage. It came with 18 inch wheel (gasp!) and repaint with metallic light blue. The original colour was silver. Other than that, everything is still stock standard.
Initial drive review:
Feels comfortable. But the large rims might have compromise the ride comfort slightly. Despite it's large size, the drivability is very much like driving a normal car with the exception of the ride height. The real fun is when the turbo kicks in :).
Modifications?
Don't feel like modifying this ride. It'll be a family car that we will use for long journey and weekends. Maybe the most 'extreme' modification I might do is to reflash the ECU and get back the 20HP that was detuned by the factory. Been contemplating on changing the rims into a smaller size... 17 incher perhaps.
